Lancaster Town Band continues its 73rd season schedule

The Lancaster Town Band will kick off its 73rd season next week, with concerts starting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, unless otherwise noted, at the Richard E. Pascucci Memorial Band Shell, 200 Oxford Ave. in Lancaster. The band shell is adjacent to the Lancaster Youth Bureau.

In case of rain, performances will be held at the Lancaster Middle School, 148 Aurora Street.

The following are upcoming concerts for the summer:

•American Bandstand, June 26. Featuring Jacob Seymour, conductor; Allison Metcalf, vocalist; and Lynne Ruda, cello.

•A Tribute to Phil Blommendahl, A Star-Spangled Timpani Finale, July 3. Featuring

Gordon Scherer, drum set; David Bondrow and Linda Koziol, vocalists; and Lexie Hoeglmeier, comedian.

•Here’s to the Red, White and Blue, July 4. The performance will be at noon in the Lancaster Village Square, Central Avenue and Broadway. Featuring Laurie Granata, vocalist; Daniel DeAngelis, narrator; and the Lancaster High School Marching Band.

•Sand, Surf and Some Southern Turf, July 10. Featuring Jacob Seymour and Mary Beth Conlon, vocalists, and Katelyn Fridmann, horn.

•LTB Favorites: Sing It, Ladies! July 17. Soloists will be Rebecca English, Deborah Jasinski and Linda Koziol, vocalists, and Shannon Zolnowski, clarinet.
