Verizon store opens in Depew

Round Room, a TCC Verizon wireless retailer, has opened a new store at 4891 Transit Road in Depew, according to Verizon staff.

The company said the new store offers guests the ultimate experience in interactivity while shopping for wireless devices, accessories and home solutions, and is designed as a destination for guests to get hands-on experience with the latest wireless devices.

On Oct. 4, a grand opening event was held for the Depew community, and $1,500 was donated to the Western New York chapter of Newborns in Need, an organization providing care necessities to agencies and hospitals serving premature, ill or impoverished newborns.

TCC Verizon makes ongoing investments in the local communities where it operates through its Culture of Good movement, the company said. Earlier this year, the company donated more than 187,000 backpacks with school supplies at TCC and Wireless Zone stores across the country, gave supply packs to more than 5,000 teachers across the U.S., and provided 3,000 care kits to senior living communities.
